Located south of the Domberg (Cathedral Hill), in the suburb of Wunderburg, an area of genuine Bamberg is still alive: The Private Brewery Mahr's Braeu, property of the Michel family since 1880. The Michel family, which is especially bound to tradition, was able to preserve the traditional atmosphere of the house. The following pages will inform you in detail of our history, philosophy, brewery, ecology, beer and restaurant.
